Call for landowners to provide sites for local Gypsy and Traveller communities

Newark and Sherwood District Council is calling on landowners in the local area to put forward suitable land for new Gypsy and Traveller sites.

Newark and Sherwood District Council has a large and diverse Gypsy and Traveller population, with these communities contributing greatly towards the District.

The Council continues to be committed to finding future sites to meet the need identified through its new Gypsy and Traveller Accommodation Assessment up to 2033, to help ensure the wellbeing of its Gypsy and Traveller communities in the future.
