Community Climate Champions launch

The event aims to promote the public launch of the Community Climate Champion programme, which aims to build a network of community groups across the county and empower them to take action against climate change and increase biodiversity.

Over the past 6 months, the climate change team have been working with a pilot group of 10 communities across our rural and urban landscape. The team will be presenting their findings from the pilot scheme and inviting some of the pilot champions to talk about their experiences.

Applications to become a Community Climate Champion are now open: https://nland.uk/oct21champion
