We wanted to create a John Lewis inspired Christmas advert supporting our City Services teams this year.
So first we went to the best film makers around. The brief was for an action packed drama with the high tempo of The Fast & the Furious and the tear-jerking emotional impact of Castaway. And if Tom Hanks was available then great. If not, we’d settle for Vin Diesel.
They said what’s your budget? We said don’t worry. We’ve ringfenced about £10. Don’t spend it all at once.
They said you’re crazy. It can’t be done.
We said then we’ll go it alone. Challenge accepted.
